A Family Friendly Star Wars Musical!

The Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra invites Star Wars fans young and old to their Summer family concert featuring soaring music from the high flying space opera saga! Its the perfect way to introduce the little ones to the magic of classical music in a relaxed and kid-friendly atmosphere - early birds take note, before the show at 1pm children (and their parents) are invited to try out orchestral instruments and meet the musicians in the Musical Discovery Zone in the lobby.

The music of the Star Wars films lives on fondly in the collective pop culture memory thanks to the genius of composing icon John Williams. From the goose flesh-inducing Imperial March to the wistful melodies of the Star Wars main theme, Williams' contributions helped turned the visionary visuals of the films into legend and launched the idea of the modern American film score. 

Dressing up as your favorite Star Wars character is emphatically encouraged!
